The Paradise
What happens when the stories of the past collide with the urgency of the future?
Join us for an enchanting and thought-provoking theatrical production that follows four cousins—Rohan, Paru, Ayaan, and Bhumi—as they swap their boarding school books for a summer at their grandmother's home.
The summer starts with the typical chaos of snacks and gadgets but the mood shifts when their grandmother shares the legacy of their grandfather—a man who didn't just farm the land, but protected it like family. Inspired by his "force of nature" spirit and haunted by the environmental changes they see around them, the children realize that the "tiny ghosts" of plastic and pollution are threatening their own future.
From a frantic, comedic "Invention Squad" school play to a high-energy Recycled Fashion Show, this musical blends traditional storytelling with modern activism.
Featuring a live score of violin, piano, guitar, and drums, The Paradise is a powerful call to action that asks the ultimate question: Where is the sense of urgency to save our future?
An original script with 60 kids involved, performing live instruments and live musical, this is a first show of its kind in San Diego.

A prize-winner at competitions across Europe, she weaves Glass, Schubert, Rachmaninoff, and Piazzolla into a breathtaking solo journey. "A fireworks display of sound" — Münchner Merkur. Don't miss one of classical guitar's most thrilling young voices.
In this recital, Pageaud invites listeners on a journey through centuries and styles — from the meditative minimalism of Philip Glass to the Baroque intricacies of Heinrich Biber, from Schubert’s lyrical poetry to the transcendent spirituality of Messiaen. Her program explores the emotional and expressive potential of the guitar in works both intimate and grand.
